If you have little ones, I would say younger than five, this New York Times Bestseller is a bestseller for a reason. Whimsical, fun, colorful and an excellent story to boot.

The Pout-Pout Fish by Deborah Diesen and illustrated by Dan Hanna is sure to be a classic. Children, (us adults too) will love this book for years to come. Bedtime reading for the little guy usually includes several books. The Pout-Pout Fish ends up in the mix every night.

I especially like the moral. Don’t be a pout, lighten up. As The Eagles once said, don’t let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy. In a way, The Pout-Pout Fish sends the same message. Happiness is truly the best way to go through life.

I strongly recommend The Pout-Pout Fish if you have little ones of your own or if you know someone who does. You won’t regret it.

I’ll insert my disclaimer here, I purchased this book of my own free will and do not, in any way, have any connection to the author.
